For more than a decade, HIIM has been providing sewing machine training for Ethiopian Jewish youth and women to give them a skill to help them stand on their feet and acquire permanent work.
The BETA ISRAEL community in Gondar Northern Ethiopia are a neglected, displaced people hoping to come to Israel.
Unfortunately, most of them suffer in poverty and live without basic necessities. Our goal is to help them discover and fulfill God’s purpose in their lives.
Our sewing machine center is in Enfranze, outside of the Gondar region.
Please prayerfully consider standing with us to purchase a sewing machine for and training for one person.
The cost of the sewing machine with training is $1500-$2000.
