Mintamer is one of the leftovers from a Falash Mura family who is living in Dabbat village in the Northern part of Ethiopia. Some of her family members left Ethiopia during Operation Moses in 1984 through Sudan. She is a widow and has no children. Her Husband was killed by a rebel group last year in crossfire in the village when he was 65.
At the age of 67, Mintamer is left alone and her hut was burned by fighters in the village. Now she is homeless and no one is giving her attention or help.
Last month one of our representatives from Gondar found her and got her some support and is looking for permanent support for the remainder of her life.
