“Yeshua is the same Yesterday Today and Forever” (Hebrews 13:8.)

Hebrews 13:8 was the verse that kept her going:

Shalom Mishpocha,

As most of you know Sudan has been in the middle of a civil war for the last four months.

Over a million Sudanese have fled to neighboring countries like Chad, Egypt, Kenya as well as Ethiopia.

Belutu left for Sudan when she was 18 years old in search of a better life; however, she has gone through a difficult journey from working in Sudan as a maid with very hard labor to being homeless.

While homeless, she met Ayele, her husband, and they got married and have children.

With constant riots and wars, they moved from place to place. On one occasion, Ayele was forced to join a rebel group or face death.  Belatu kept on her journey and has not seen Ayele.

What kept her going was the stories of God she had heard from her father.

After a difficult journey and walking for nearly three weeks, Belutu arrived in Ethiopia, Gondar with her children.

There are many Belutus who need our help and support. She made it to Gondar but there are many who don’t and there are many children left orphans.

I’m going to Ethiopia in September to visit and help these people.

Please donate anything you can to help families like Belutu and many others.

Without you, we couldn’t do much.

Thank you very much for your generosity and for your love.

Be blessed in Yeshua!

Kokeb and Menalu
