Girma and Aseged have been married for the last 20 years. They had one son living with them in Tumet (one of the borders of Sudan).
Their son Hailu was 18 and helping his sick father to farm their small land. Last year, when the rebel group started war with Sudanese fighters, he was forced to fight with rebel groups. Hailu was wounded in the battle.
After a month of intense suffering, he passed away. This took place three months ago. Heartbroken and unable to stay in their home due to war, Girma and Aseged left Tumet village and sheltered nearby in a village school compound with other displaced people. Now they are being forced to leave the school compound and approached HIIM for support. We are working with them with aid assistance and also to find a safe living situation. Please pray for them.
