Ayeches is a 56-year-old widow with two teenagers. She is from Chilga village which is near to the border of Sudan.
For the last two years, Sudan attacked the border of Ethiopia and killed many Ethiopian farmers who were working nearby. Abebe, her late husband, was one of the farm workers.
Unfortunately, when the Sudanese soldiers came to fight, he was one of those killed in the crossfire with militias. Ayelech was left alone with her two teen children with little assistance. She approached our HIIM representative to find sponsors for her and two children. We are working diligently to assist her with aid, logistical support and communal network.
