Ayelech (very common name in Ethiopia meaning “she became powerful) is one of the Beta Israel women who has been waiting for a long time in the Northern part of Ethiopia to make aliyah.
Unfortunately, her husband died two years ago, leaving her with 3 children to raise alone. Last winter, she fell and broke her leg when she trying to bring water back to the village from the well.
Ayelech came from Quara village near the Sudan border and was hoping to come to Israel with her husband, prior to his death. But since she was left alone with her three young children, she was struggling to raise them by working.
When she broke her leg, everything got worse for her family. The doctor told her to amputate her leg, but she refused and instead suffered in a lot of pain and was wounded.
Three months ago, HIIM found her serious situation and we took her to a private hospital, and she was admitted and God started doing miracles. She has started work slowly and is now back in her home and her children have started to go to school. HIIM helped them to buy all their needs for the school.
We have over 25 children in queue called Falash Mura (Christian Jewish) still waiting eagerly to come to Israel in Gondar and Addis Ababa. Most of them are living in war zones and need your prayers and support. Blessings and love. Thank you so much!
We are so grateful for a ministry like HIIM which is helping the Ethiopian people who are in such dire circumstances. I pray for continued opportunities and successes in your outreach and for these dear souls.
