Ethiopia in 2025

Most of our communities are under famine and civil war and it is very hard to watch and hear the dying families daily. Please watch the pictures which I’m going to send you.  We need to talk and explain what is going on. It is very hard to write everything. Let the pictures speak.

Shalom Mishpocha (families)!

It was heartbreaking to see our people struggling during my recent trip to the Holy Land and Ethiopia. Trauma, desperation, discouragement and hunger are common among the Beta Yisrael communities in both countries. The Torah and B’rit Chadashah clearly command us to stand with the poor and help the forgotten people.

In Israel life is very difficult. Families have lost loved ones due to the war and are losing jobs due to lack of tourism. These are the people who need our attention during the upcoming Pesach in Israel.

In Northern Ethiopia people are facing starvation because of the civil war that has lasted for two years now. Rabbi Saul (Paul) in Galatians 2:10 reminds us of the highest Mitzvah to not forget the poorest of the poor:

“All they asked was that we should continue to remember the poor, the very thing I had been eager to do all along.”

HIIM continues to focus on helping the poor by providing basic needs for families in both Ethiopia and Israel.

I’m going back to both countries for Pesach to be with my people and continue supporting the needy. Please continue to help us bring encouragement and strength to our people in Jerusalem and Ethiopia.

I’m always praying for you and appreciate your faithfulness to the restoration of the Beta Yisrael.

Shalom and be blessed in Yeshua!
